On 13 July 2025, the Queensland Government announced a Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry.
The Commission is independent from the Government and any other entity or person.
Its duty is to inquire in an impartial manner into claims of misconduct related to the CFMEU and construction industry and make recommendations to the Queensland Government based on what it finds.
You can take part or stay informed:
- Make a submission – Share what you know with the Commission. It will be treated as confidential unless you state otherwise.
- Watch hearings – Hearings may be livestreamed so you can follow what is happening.
- Keep up to date - Subscribe for updates from the Commission.
At the end of the Inquiry, the Commission will provide a report to the Queensland Government and publish the report on this website.
The final report is due by 31 July 2026.
