Commission of Inquiry announces additional June/July hearing dates

The Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry has confirmed its next sitting dates.

Following adjustments to the hearing schedule, public hearings will resume on Tuesday, 9 June 2026 and continue through to Thursday, 11 June 2026.

The following sitting blocks have been confirmed for June and July 2026:

  • 9 – 11 June 2026 (Brisbane Magistrates Court)
  • 16 – 18 June 2026 (Brisbane Magistrates Court)
  • 14 – 16 July 2026 (Commonwealth Law Courts, Brisbane)
  • 28 – 30 July 2026 (Brisbane Magistrates Court)

Members of the public are encouraged to watch the hearings live. Transcripts will be published online as they become available.

Workers, subcontractors, industry participants and community members are encouraged to come forward with information they feel is relevant to the inquiry. This information will be treated in strict confidence unless stated otherwise.
