Witness list for public hearings 21-23 April 2026

The Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry will hold public hearings between Tuesday 21 April 2026 and Thursday 23 April 2026. Hearings will be held in Courtroom 17, Level 4, Brisbane Magistrates Court.

It is anticipated that evidence will be heard from the following witnesses.

  • Ryan Rosenlund – current Director of Rosenlund Contractors
  • Neile Rosenlund – former Managing Director of the Rosenlund Group
  • Enrique Gomez – current Regional Managing Director of Australia, UK and Ireland at Ferrovial Corporation S.A.U.; former Managing Director of Ferrovial Agroman (Australia) Pty Ltd
  • Jose Sanchez – former Project Director, Acciona Infrastructure Australia Pty Ltd
  • Geoffrey Watson SC – Investigator appointed by the CFMEU

It is envisaged that each hearing day will be conducted at the following times:

  • 10:00 am – 11:15 am
  • 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
  • 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Any person wishing to make an application to cross-examine Mr Watson must do so in advance of Thursday and must comply with the relevant practice note.

Workers, subcontractors, industry participants and community members are encouraged to come forward with information they feel is relevant to the inquiry. This information will be treated in strict confidence unless stated otherwise.
