Witness list for public hearings 9-11 June 2026

The Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry will hold public hearings between Tuesday 9 June 2026 and Thursday 11 June 2026. Hearings will be held in Courtroom 17, Level 4, Brisbane Magistrates Court.

It is anticipated that evidence will be heard from the following witnesses from Tuesday–Wednesday:

  • Andrea Fox – Executive Director of Policy and Workplace Services, Office of Industrial Relations
  • Kym Bancroft – Former Deputy Director General, Office of Industrial Relations
  • Graham Easterby – Former Licensing Manager, Queensland Building and Construction Commission

It is anticipated that the following witnesses will be called for cross-examination on Thursday:

  • Wayne Jenkinson – Former Director of Operations for the Australian Building and Construction Commission (Northern Region)
  • Nigel Hadgkiss – Former Commissioner of the Australian Building and Construction Commission

It is envisaged that each hearing day will be conducted at the following times:

  • 10:00 am – 11:15 am
  • 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
  • 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
