Witness list for public hearings 28-30 April 2026

The Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry will hold public hearings between Tuesday 28 April 2026 and Thursday 30 April 2026. Hearings will be held in Courtroom 17, Level 4, Brisbane Magistrates Court.

It is anticipated that evidence will be heard from the following witnesses.

  • Vince Sanfilippo – General Manager (Qld & PNG), CPB Contractors
  • Matthew Papworth – Human Resources Manager CPB Contractors
  • Graeme Silvester – Executive General Manager (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) CIMIC Group
  • Andrew Large – Project Director, CPB Contractors
  • Nicole Watson – Senior Human Resources Advisor, Ghella Pty Ltd
  • Michael O’Brien – former Senior Industrial Relations Advisor, CPB Contractors

It is envisaged that each hearing day will be conducted at the following times:

  • 10:00 am – 11:15 am
  • 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
  • 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
