Witness list for public hearings 16–18 June 2026

The Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry will hold public hearings between Tuesday 16 June 2026 and Thursday 18 June 2026. Hearings will be held in Courtroom 17, Level 4, Brisbane Magistrates Court.

It is anticipated that evidence will be heard from the following witnesses:

  • Natalie Faulkner - Senior Managing Director, Leader of Australia Risk & Investigations, FTI Consulting
  • Professor Paolo Campana - Professor of Criminology and Director of the Violence Research Centre, Institute of Criminology (University of Cambridge)
  • Professor Federico Varese - Professor of Criminology and former Head of Department (University of Oxford); Professor at Sciences Po, Paris

It is envisaged that the Tuesday and Wednesday hearing day will be conducted at the following times:

  • 10:00 am – 11:15 am
  • 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
  • 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

It is envisaged that the Thursday hearing day will be conducted at the following times:

  • 9:00 am – 10:30 am
  • 10:45 am – 12:30 pm
  • 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
