Public hearings

9-11 June 2026

The tenth week of public hearings for the Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry was held at the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

The Commission heard evidence from:

  • Andrea Fox – Executive Director of Policy and Workplace Services, Office of Industrial Relations
  • Kym Bancroft – Former Deputy Director General, Office of Industrial Relations
  • Graham Easterby – Former Licensing Manager, Queensland Building and Construction Commission

The below witnesses were cross-examined:

  • Wayne Jenkinson – Former Director of Operations for the Australian Building and Construction Commission (Northern Region)
  • Nigel Hadgkiss – Former Commissioner of the Australian Building and Construction Commission
