Public hearings 25-27 August 2026
The fifteenth block of public hearings for the Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry was held at the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
The Commission heard evidence from six witnesses including:
- Jacqueline King – General Secretary, Queensland Council of Unions (cross examination)
- Grant Killen – Managing Director, Concentric Concepts
- Scott Power – Chief Executive Officer, BMD Group
- Mark Irving KC – former Administrator of the CFMEU Construction and General Division
- Amanda Yeates – Deputy-Director General, Infrastructure Management and Delivery, Department of Main Roads and Transport (DTMR)
- John (Jack) Ryan – Deputy Regional Director, Metropolitan Region, Department of Transport and Main Roads
