Public hearings 18-20 August 2026

The fourteenth block of public hearings for the Commission of Inquiry into the CFMEU and Misconduct in the Construction Industry was held at Brisbane Magistrate's Court.

The Commission heard evidence from six witnesses including:

  • Rob Pickard - General Manager, Queensland and Northern Territory, BMD Constructions Pty Ltd
  • Steve Thomas - General Manager, Human Resources and Industrial Relations, BMD Group

  • Quinn Murray - Project Director, Georgiou Group Pty Ltd
